Retail floors differ wildly. One stack forced liquor UI on cafes, locked merchants into processors, and left invoice stocking as spreadsheet work. Operators need a configurable counter, honest hardware path, and AI that helps stock the catalog without taking over checkout.

Shipped Counterly as the software layer over existing merchant accounts and counter hardware (PAX, Verifone, ESC/POS). Counterly POS (register) and Counterly Admin are both live on the Apple App Store for iPad - not iPhone. Register covers age checks, cash/card tender, lottery amounts, shifts, receipts, refunds, and inventory. Admin covers catalog, tax, inventory, purchasing, promotions, reports, and billing. AI Invoice Import turns distributor invoices into sellable SKUs with review before commit. Smart Assist adds commands, cross-sell tips, and ID assist - cashiers stay in control.
